Calling all dog owners..

I just want to check if you are responsible for cleaning up your own dog's poop?

I live off Villagio Drive and can confirm that Bella Terra Park is covered in dog poop, as are the sidewalks approaching the park and some of the nearby front yards - nice. I've even seen a house recently with a sign in the front yard asking dog owners to stop their dogs from pooping on his grass. IT"S DISGUSTING!!

I know most self respecting dog owners are equally disgusted by this but as always it's the minority that affect the majority. I have notified Serrano Homeowner Association who assure me it will be cleaned up... Somehow I don't think this is the incentive dog owners need to take responsibility for their pets. They already need to keep them on leashes (such a shame) could it be that dogs might eventually get banned??

I agree, but how do you enforce any type of rules or fines. No one will spend the money to have someone watch the streets. It's just sad people cannot just be responsible for themselves, their kids, and their pets.

What about cats? I find their stuff in my yard all the time. :mad:
